September 2004
To carry on where I left off in August my second hand Defi boost gauge, pod and control unit arrived this month. I also completed my setup with a water temp gauge bought new from Mike at Scooby Mania.
I spent far too much money chasing 300bhp this month. I bought an Apexi Power FC and Commander, a Walbro fuel pump and FSE regulator, a K&N 57i and a MY00 dump valve for my soon-to-arrive STi V6 intercooler.
My injector adaptor project progressed with the purchase of some Denso 550cc injectors and the first prototype Phase 2 440cc into Phase 1 rail collar being fab'd up. I also made a tilt kit for the new intercooler and the car was rolling roaded at Wallace Performance where it made 260bhp once more on what appears to be an extremely accurate setup.
