Straight after taking care of uprating the cars fuelling last month it was time to get onto the inlet side of things. This involved fitting my front-entry TD05 turbo, STi V6 intercooler and ducting the air filter.

The 3-port boost solenoid was fitted and a section of the rubber sealing strip on the bonnet removed to try and aid air flow to the filter. Andy Forrest then fitted and mapped the Apexi ECU and Commander before the car went for its 'after' run on the Wallace Performance rolling road.

Disappointingly the car only made 277bhp with the same 240lb/ft torque but I haven't given up just yet! However, the next priority was to get some winter wheels on. The MY00 wheels aren't a patch on the Speedlines but I know which ones I'd rather have covered in salt and muck...
