Following on from the first prototypes machined in November I made several changes to the design, mainly to allow cross-compatibility between all classic-shape Imprezas.
The main change involved the fitting of an adaptor plate to allow the rails to be bolted down to the 'awkward' MY97/98 (Phase 1.5) Impreza manifold. A third 6AN ORB port was added to the centre of the rails to facilitate alternative fuel flow paths or sender fitting and other minor dimensional changes were made.
After some trial and error with the adaptor plates i had two pairs of fully-functioning billet alloy fuel rails. Only very minor alterations are left to made, the most significant of these is to increase the centre bore diameter from 10mm to 12mm.
All i need now is a car to fit them too...
