So i have decided to sell my Impreza STi Type RA. We've had three and a half years together and i'll be honest when i say that throughout the many highs and couple of lows i've throughly enjoyed owning this car. I'll be sad to see it go but since starting Open University i don't have as much free time as i'd like in order to prep and race the car in the local sprints and hillclimbs. At the moment, and propbably for the next few years, i need a car that is more road-focused.
This car is no show pony. What it is is a very well setup base for a good track, sprint or hillclimb car. All the boring work is done, there are demon AP brakes fitted, charge air is kept cool with a huge Newage STi intercooler, a custom oil catch tank with return-to-sump is installed, there's a lightweight battery and alternator fitted, the reprogrammable ECU and boost controller is there, a free-flowing true 3" exhaust is fitted, the chassis has been 'Whitelined', the A/C has been binned and (amongst the many other things) the car wears sticky Toyo R888 rubber. All it needs is a built engine, clutch and some coil overs. However, that's not to say that the car is no fun as it is with its existing ~380bhp!
