Frequently Asked Questions
Payments
Payments are generally received through PayPal although personal cheques and cash on collection are also accepted means of funding. Please contact us directly if you wish to pay by cheque or collect your parts in person.
All prices shown are inclusive of delivery and PayPal fees, there are no hidden costs.
Delivery
Packaging and domestic deivery charges are incorporated into the cost of each item offered for sale. We are more than happy to ship items outside of the UK although we do insist that you contact us directly to discuss your specific requirements first.
Domestic deliveries up to the value of £41 are sent using Royal Mails 1st Class Signed For service. Items over the value of £41 are sent using Royal Mails Special Delivery service. By doing this all items are guaranteed to be insured up to their full value should they get lost in the post - although (touch wood) this has never happened.
Due to personal commitments it is often not possible to progress orders or respond to emails for up to two weeks. Please be patient, emails are always dignified with a response. Similarly, if your order is going to be subject to any sort of a delay you will always be informed that this is the case - no excuses!
To avoid disappointment, delays or missed mapping sessions we recommend ordering your parts well in advance. If you have a mapping date booked it is always best to approach things from a boy-scout perspective - be prepared!!
Trade Enquiries
Trade enquiries are welcomed. Recently we have been working hard to achieve what we feel is an excellent trade price structure. We now feel confident our trade and bulk-ordering prices cannot be beaten. Why not give us a try?
Group Buys
As well as offering great deals for traders we want to pass the same deals onto the consumer. By offering to cater for Group Buys we give the consumer the power to purchase in bulk. Many websites now offer specific Group Buy forums where people can arrange to use their buying power to make significant savings. ScoobyNet and the SIDC Forums are just two great examples of this.
